Wanted Ka‘ū Man Located

The Hawai‘i Police Department located and arrested Pohakea Lipe, who was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant and for questioning in connection with other criminal investigations.
On Friday, March 18, Lipe was arrested and charged for two bench warrants, one arrest warrant, and one-count of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
His bail is set at $15,150 and he remains in police custody at the Kona Police Station pending his initial court appearance scheduled for Monday, March 21, 2022, in Kona District Court.
