Missing South Kohala Woman Located

Dana Hori

UPDATE: Hawai‘i Island police reported Tuesday, March 15, that 59-year-old Dana Hori of South Kohala, who was previously reported as missing, was located Monday, March 14, in Kona in good health.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a South Kohala woman.

Fifty-nine-year-old Dana Hori was reportedly last observed in a parking lot on Makala Street in Kailua-Kona on March 05, 2022, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. wearing a white shirt and white shorts.

Hawai‘i police say she is known to frequent the Kailua-Kona area.

Hori is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 125 pounds, with short bleached blonde hair and hazel eyes. She has star tattoos on her arms and legs, including six stars on each arm.

Police ask anyone with information on Hori’s whereabouts to call Officer Kesia M. Quiocho of South Kohala Patrol at 808-887-3080 or email kesia.quiocho@hawaiicounty.gov. Callers may also call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.
