Mountain View Woman Charged in Toyota Theft Case

Hawai‘i County Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen announced Thursday, Dec. 23 that a Mountain View woman, 31-year-old Olivia Branco, was charged for rendering assistance to a wanted Mountain View man, Isaac Rosa, and unauthorized entry into a Toyota Tacoma.

Branco is the second woman in 10 days to have been charged with offenses related to assisting Isaac Rosa. On Dec. 12, in addition to five other criminal offenses, prosecutors charged Bosilka Nash with first-degree hindering prosecution for allegedly rendering assistance to Rosa as well.

Branco was charged with first-degree hindering prosecution (rendering assistance to another person to hinder the apprehension, prosecution, conviction, or punishment of another person for a felony offense) and first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

Branco remains in custody in lieu of $10,000.00 bail pending her initial appearance today
in Hilo District Court.
