HPD Investigates Silver Coin Theft in Keaʻau

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in providing information regarding a theft of silver coins from the Kea‘au area.

According to Hawaiʻi police, a large amount of silver Austrian Philharmonic and South African Krugerrand coins were removed from a property on Maku‘u Drive on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.

Police ask anyone with any information about this case to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Daniel Tam at 808-965-2716.
