81 New Cases Reported
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 81 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 85,790. One new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
A total of eight new infections were identified on the Big Island Sunday.
The state’s seven-day average is now 81 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.6%.

Maui: 9,718
Kaua‘i: 2,879
Moloka‘i: 245
Lana‘i: 145
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,804
A total of 4,900 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 977 have died.
