Halekiʻi Market Announces HoliDaze Series of Events Through Holiday Season
Halekiʻi Market has announced plans to present HoliDaze, a series of festive and community kōkua-driven events over the holiday season. The next three events are scheduled for Nov. 26, Dec. 4 and Dec. 18.
The Haleki’i Market experience features local crafts and art vendors, fresh food and live music. It also features the market’s Keiki Entrepreneur candidates who present offerings such as beauty aids, custom tech-art printing products, artisanal crafts, personalized home decor products and specialized desserts.
Apart from the scheduled first-Saturdays, two new dates have been added.
Nov. 26th – Haleki’i’s 1st Annual Black Friday Night Market Event: a 4 pm to 8 pm special shopping experience for the entire family.
Dec. 18 – Haleki’i Market’s Mele Kalikimaka Extravaganza – a 9 am to 2 pm special holiday market day to support local artisans and merchants, as well as highlight the market’s monthly community outreach kokua initiative done in collaboration with the following organizations:
- The Maʻi Movement- donation drive of menstruation hygiene products to end period poverty.
- Kona Lions Club- donation drive of used prescription glasses/ hearing aids.
- Circle Pack Hawaiʻi- shredding station for cardboard recycling into mulch, packing or pet bedding.
- Kākoʻo I Nā Keiki- Support the Keiki Program- food drive for non-perishable items in partnership with Hawaiʻi Food Basket.
