The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 152 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 84,295. Ten new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.

A total of 33 new infections were identified on the Big Island Saturday.

The state’s seven-day average is now 119 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 57,908
Hawai‘i: 11,097
Maui: 9,547
Kaua‘i: 2,648
Moloka‘i: 242
Lana‘i: 144
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,709

A total of 4,741 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 916 have died.
