DOH Reports Less Than 100 New COVID Cases Statewide

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 91 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 80,414. No new COVID-related fatalities were reported.

A total of 15 new infections were identified on the Big Island Tuesday.

The state’s two-week average is now 239 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 3.4%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

A total of 4,394 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 811 have died.
