The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 372 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 78,7149. Ten new COVID-related fatalities were reported.

A total of 54 new infections were identified on the Big Island Sunday.

The state’s two-week average is now 372 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 4.5%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 54,379
Hawai‘i: 9,857
Maui: 8,983
Kaua‘i: 2,182
Moloka‘i: 218
Lana‘i: 139
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,391

A total of 4,214 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 757 have died.
