Authorities seek the public’s assistance in locating two east Hawai‘i runaways.

Seventeen-year-old Keolamauloa Heanu of Hilo, and 14-year-old John Histo III of Mountain View were last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kinoole Street in Hilo on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at 7:55 p.m.

Keolamauloa is described as being Caucasian-Hawaiian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 9 inches, 126 pounds, with short blond hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans.

John is described as Hawaiian with a thin build, 5 feet 6 inches, 120 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black basketball shorts, and carrying a black backpack.

Hawaiʻi Police ask anyone with information on either teen’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
