A free coronavirus vaccination clinic will be held in Kailua-Kona this weekend.

Kona Commons Shopping Center and West Hawai`i Community Health Center are partnering to offer a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday, July 24 from 10 am to 2 pm. There’s no need for pre-registration, just come by. Those who participate are asked to bring ID and an insurance card, if they have one. There is no charge for the vaccine.

Health professionals with the West Hawai`i Community Health Center will register, screen, vaccinate and monitor vaccine recipients. All residents over the age of 18 may receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Moderna, which is two doses administered four weeks apart, and Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen, which is one dose, are both available as vaccine options.
