Fire Destroys 1-Story Structure in Mountain View

A residential structure and shed were destroyed in an early morning fire in Mountain View, July 2. No injuries were reported.

Hawai‘i Fire Department received the report of a structure fire in the Eden Roc subdivision at approximately 6:23 a.m. When crews arrived on scene, they found a 600-square-foot single-story structure engulfed in flames with the roof collapsed.

The flames had spread to a 480-square-foot shed nearby. No occupants were at the scene. A water shuttle operation was established on Ohia Avenue.

The structure was a total loss. The blaze is currently under investigation.
