DOH Identifies 30 New COVID Cases Monday

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 30 new cases of coronavirus Monday. The statewide total is now 36,276. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.

No new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Monday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 50 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.1%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 26,396
Maui: 3,651
Hawai‘i: 2,885
Kaua‘i: 318
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 55
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,193

A total of 2,327 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 500 have died.

To date, a total of 1,513,894 doses of the vaccine have been administered statewide.
