93 New COVID Cases in Hawaii Saturday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 93 new cases of coronavirus Saturday. The statewide total is now 35,819. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
One new cases of the virus was identified on the Big Island Saturday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 74 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.3%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 26,865
Maui: 3,602
Hawai‘i: 2,777
Kaua‘i: 313
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 51
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,164
A total of 2,286 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 494 have died.
To date, a total of 1,437,758 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered statewide.
