COVID-19 Testing Scheduled in North Kona

One COVID-19 testing clinic is scheduled for Hawai‘i County today, May 15.

The clinic will take place in North Kona at the West Hawai‘i Civic Center from 9 a.m. to noon. Several vaccination clinics are scheduled throughout the county.

A clinic is scheduled at Edith Kanakaole Tennis Stadium in Hilo from 8 a.m. to noon, at Hāmākua Kohala Health Care from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in North Kona at Kealakehe Middle School from 9 a.m. to noon and at the Ka‘ū Gym from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Call the Department of Health at 808-300-1120 for questions regarding vaccination. Click here for information on a list of clinics and pharmacies providing the vaccine.

County officials remind residents that despite the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recent announcement of relaxed guidelines regarding face masks, it doesn’t replace the state and local regulations and rules.

Officials remind the public to socially distance. Face masks are required in businesses and public places and gatherings remain at 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors.
