DOH Reports 94 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 94 new cases of coronavirus on Friday. The statewide total is now 31,751. One new COVID-related death was also reported.
Four new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Friday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 80 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 24,398
Maui: 3,305
Hawai‘i: 2,664
Kaua‘i: 205
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 37
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,031
A total of 2,098 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 477 people have died.
