Availability Remains For Mass Vaccination Event in Ka´ū

The Ka´ū Rural Health Community Association. in conjunction with Kaiser Permanente, is staging a mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday, April 17, and more than 150 spots remain available.

Vaccinations are by appointment only, and no walk-ups will be admitted. However, signing up is easy and the inoculations come absent any charges or copays.

To qualify, an individual must be at least 18 years of age and come equipped with valid photo identification. If you have medical insurance, you are asked to bring your insurance card, though it will not be charged. Uninsured individuals are also welcome to receive the shot.

The clinic will be held from noon until 5 pm on Saturday at the Robert N. Herkes Gymnasium & Shelter/Ka´ū District Gym. The address is 96-3150 Pikake Street in Pahala.
