This month’s free talk is hosted by speaker Paula Thomas on the topic “How to Manage Stress: Stillness, Breathwork, Mindset.”

“Most of us don’t even know how stressed we are because stress can be an invisible and insidious chronic illness,” says Thomas. “How to manage, address, cope with, and reduce stress means different things to different people.  Luckily, there are some universal practices that have positive physiological effects.”

In this talk, learn tips and techniques for how to identify and remediate stress—to bring more peace into your life.

Paula Thomas holds an M.Ed. in Dance and a B.A. in English and Economics. She became a certified yoga teacher in 2010.  Thomas has taught stress management for the Ornish Lifestyle Medicine program and yoga at University of Hawai’i at Hilo, and is engaged in digital marketing, writing, and communications for conscious entrepreneurs in Hawai‘i and beyond.  Facilitation, consulting, coaching, listening, and creating has been a big part of her work.
