DOH Reports 114 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 114 new cases of coronavirus Saturday, raising the statewide total to 30,684. One new COVID-related death was reported.
Twelve new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Saturday, per DOH statistics. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the state’s website.
The state’s two-week average is 89 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 23,677
Maui: 3,104
Hawai‘i: 2,573
Kaua‘i: 199
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 34
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 986
A total of 2,044 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 471 people have died.
