DOH Reports 122 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 122 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, raising the statewide total to 29,071. One new COVID-related death was also reported.
The state’s two-week average is 77 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%.
Twelve new cases were identified on the Big Island Thursday, according to DOH statistics. The state’s virus tracker, which maps cases by district across all islands, can be accessed here.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 22,745
Maui: 2,679
Hawai‘i: 2,404
Kaua‘i: 188
Lana‘i: 110
Moloka‘i: 34
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 911
A total of 1,963 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 458 people have died.
