Pāhoa Aquatic Center, Regional Park Closed Due to Flooding and Heavy Rain

Pāhoa Community Aquatic Center and the Pāhoa Regional Park are closed due to flooding and heavy rains.

According to county officials, the aquatic center will be cleaned up so it can reopen on Sunday, March 14. The pool is normally closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

The park is expected to re-open on Friday, March 12, pending assessment today, March 11.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will update the public if there are any changes to the current timetable.
