Sonia Paulette Noelani (Rodrigues) Kekona, 65, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on November 8, 2018, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 3, 1953, in Wailuku.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Norman’s Mortuary; service will begin at 11:00 a.m.; cremation will follow. The family requests Lei only.Sonia worked at Avis Budget Rent-A-Car for 16 years as a Service Agent. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Jr. & Julia Rodrigues, and son, Steven Rodrigues. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Kekona Jr.; sons, Paul Michael Rodrigues, Salter Rodrigues-Kekona (Mauricia), Thomas “Man” Rodrigues-Kekona (Kalena); daughters, Gordene Rodrigues, Paula-Marie Rodrigues, Alohilani Day (Desmond), Kapua’alamea Kekona; siblings, John Gregory Alo (Kathy), Robert “Bobby” Alo, Simeon Alo (Lorraine), Kimo Alo, Clifford Rodrigues (Pauline), Char Rodrigues, Pua Rodrigues, Kawila Souza (Doug), Jo-Ann Lim (Bill), Julie Rodrigues, Nina Rodrigues (Dale); 42 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

Romulo Ordono Valdez, 56, of Haiku, Maui passed away November 8, 2018 surrounded by loving family. He was born on August 8, 1962 in Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Romulo is survived by his wife, Engracia Valdez; children, Romel Valdez (Marneli), Roslin Ibuos (Rizolito), Rowell Valdez, Ronnie Valdez, Randy Valdez (Sharmaine), Robert Valdez, Regina Valdez, Devine Grace Valdez, Althea Faith Valdez; siblings, Emiliana Dao, Remegio Valdez, Artemio Valdez, Feliciano Valdez; grandchildren, Jandave Rommar Valdez, Jullienmar Valdez, Raelyn Ibuos, Heavely Rhaine Valdez.Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Norman’s Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Holy Rosary Church in Paia. Viewing will being at 9:00 a.m. with service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
Carolina Agonoy
July 11, 1929 – November 7, 2018
Carolina Matulin Agonoy, 89 of Wailuku, Maui, peacefully passed away on November 7th, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Dingras, Ilocos, Norte Philippines on July 11th, 1929 to the late Alejandro Matulin & Valentina Valdez. She had retired from the Aston Kaanapali Shores as a Housekeeper. She was predeceased by her husband, Flor Agonoy. Carolina is survived by her children, Nenita Guira (Rogelio), Nelia Fabella, Oscar Agonoy (Imelda), Mary Jalayahay (Lito), Reynaldo Agonoy (Soledad), Perlita Edelberg (Don), Rodrigo Agonoy (Crisana), Noel Agonoy; sister, Maria Bayudan; 30 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Norman’s Mortuary on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Norman’s Mortuary on Saturday, November 24th, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. with service to begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. Please join our family for lunch at 341 Waiehu Beach rd. A heartfelt gratitude from the family of Carolina to the staff of Islands Hospice for their compassionate support and care that she had received in her time here.
Charles Treuhold

Died November 7, 2018, in Maui, at age 88. Born May 24, 1930 in Brooklyn, to Selma (Straus) and Eugene Treuhold, raised in Brooklyn and Bay Shore, NY. Phillips Academy, 1948; B.A. Yale University, 1952. Lieutenant United States Navy, 1952-1955. Charles had a 40 year career on Wall Street, beginning in 1956 at Lehman Brothers, moving in 1961 to Paribas Corporation, and in 1966 to Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Inc. as Senior Vice President and Syndicate International Securities Market Association, serving on the Board of Directors 1979-1986. Governor of the Bond Club of New York 1988-1995. Lifelong railroad aficionado and lover of Broadway musicals. He was predeceased by his wife Kerstin Margareta Nevrell, and survived by his wife Faye Field, his son Robert Charles Treuhold (Nancy), granddaughter Christine Treuhold, sister Jane Treuhold, stepchildren Lissa, Dana, Halden and Maile, and step-grandchildren Chance, Seth, Mae and Mira.Memorial will be private.
