NHCH Names New Ambulatory Services Director

North Hawai‘i Community Hospital reports that Janet Crosier has been selected as the hospital’s Director of Ambulatory Services. Crosier was previously the manager of Rehabilitation Services and Cardiopulmonary Services, and most recently served as interim director of ambulatory services.

Prior to her arrival at North Hawai’i Community Hospital in 2014, Crosier was the director of Physical Therapist Assistant Services at the American Physical Therapy Association in Alexandria, VA. Crosier also served as director and assistant professor at University of Pittsburgh in the physical therapist assistant program, and was the director of rehabilitation services in various medical center and private practice locations.

Crosier holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, master’s degrees in both physical therapy and science education from the University of Pittsburgh, and a holds a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute of Health Professions.

In her new role, Crosier is responsible for ambulatory clinics including Primary Care, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Women’s Health, Cardiology and the Cancer Center, in addition to Rehabilitation Services, and Cardiopulmonary Services.
