Looking Ahead

Moderate to breezy trade winds will persist into next week as high pressure holds firm north of the state. Stable weather will continue, with incoming light showers focusing over windward slopes and supporting some afternoon showers over the leeward slopes of the Big Island. A series of disturbances are forecast to pass south of the islands through early next week, leading to periods of increased shower activity over mainly windward slopes. A larger area of tropical moisture will likely affect the state during the middle to end of next week.
