In light of the recent violence in East Hawai‘i, the Surviving to Thriving Advocacy, Resources and Support (STARS) group invites all concerned community members to join them on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Hawai‘i County Prosecutor’s Office in Hilo to call for peace, talk and support one another.

The group will convene at the Memorial Peace Garden across from the office at 10 a.m.

STARS’ Aloha Alert is a notification that is sent to individual members after a homicide has occurred in the community.

Community members wanting to come together to promote peace, help others during a traumatic time or just be with one another for support are all great reasons to participate.
