Looking Ahead

Surface high pressure north of the islands will keep a moderate trade wind flow in place through much of next week, with low clouds and showers favoring windward and mauka areas. An area of enhanced moisture embedded within the trades is forecast to spread westward across the islands Sunday through early next week. This will likely cause an increase in the coverage of low clouds and showers over windward sections from Sunday night into early next week, with an increase in shower chances over leeward areas as well.
