Police Investigate Glenwood Shooting

Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a shooting incident in Glenwood on Highway 11 near the intersection with North and South Glenwood roads, which was reported Thursday night, July 12, 2018,

Responding to the 9:15 p.m. report of a male party who had been shot, officers identified a 32-year-old male victim with apparent gunshot wounds to the abdomen and leg. The shot is suspected to have come from a white sedan that fled in an unknown direction.

No suspects have been identified at this time.

The victim was transported to the Hilo Medical Center by HFD personnel and is currently listed in stable condition.
