‘Hit Makers’ Concert, July 21
The annual Hawai‘i Songwriting Festival is coming up, which means the very special “Hit Makers” concert—featuring some of the country’s most talented songwriters who serve as faculty for the conference—is happening on Saturday, July 21, at 7 p.m.
Culminating with a performance by special guest Kenny Loggins, the Hawai‘i Songwriting Festival’s 2018 “Hit Makers” Concert invites you to hear professional songwriters tell the stories behind the songs they wrote for or with artists like Camilla Cebello, Chris Brown, Demi Lovato, Usher, Natasha Beddingfield, Kanye West, Jason Derulo, EXO, Girl’s Generation, BoA, ShinEE, Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland, Enrique Eglesias, Jessica Simpson, Akon, Jay Sean, Christina Aguilera, Meredith Brooks, Lindsay Lohan, Corrine Bailey Rae, The Judds, Backstreet Boys, Rascal Flatts and many more.
Grammy winner Charles Brotman, his wife Joanie and their daughter Julia, are the brains behind this remarkable event.
The concert takes place at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and will feature special guest Kenny Loggins. Ticket prices are $35 at the door, or $30 in advance online.
If you are attending the conference and have already registered for the conference, note that your registration includes one non-transferrable concert ticket so you don’t need to buy one for yourself.
