No Tsunami Threat From New Zealand Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center announced that an earthquake has occurred at 11:34 a.m. on July 7, 2018.

Based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat to Hawai‘i.
