On days three and four of the 2018 Special Olympic Games, the Honoka’a Hawks showed perseverance, placing 5th place in basketball.

Team Hawai‘i earned five additional medals—three gold and two bronze—bringing its medal count to seven.

Hawai‘i’s Hui ‘O Hawai‘i day three and four results included:
Basketball (Hawai‘i Island Honoka‘a Hawks)
Loss vs North Dakota (5th Place)
Track & Field (Kaua‘i athletes)
Katelin Heller: Shot Put – 5.81 (Bronze Medal
Divine Naval: 200 meter – 30.77 (Gold Medal)
Archie Lanning: Running Long Jump – 2.49 (Gold Medal)
Kobe Iglesia: Running Long Jump – 2.84 (Bronze Medal)
4×100 Relay (5th Place)
Soccer (O‘ahu athletes)
Win vs South Caroline 5-3 (Gold Medal)
