Looking Ahead

A more typical trade wind pattern is expected to gradually fill in across the state through the day Tuesday, then continue into the upcoming weekend. Volcanic emissions from the Big Island that are currently impacting the smaller islands should shift back toward the south as the trades return Tuesday through the holiday. Clouds and showers will focus over windward and mauka locations each day. A slight increase in shower coverage, however, will be possible late Thursday through the weekend.
