Kona Community Emergency Response Team Training

The Hawai‘i County Civil Defense Agency has scheduled an in-depth, four-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Course in Kona.

Training will take place over four consecutive Saturdays starting Feb. 24, continuing on March 3, 10, & 17, 2018.

The class will be held at the West Hawaii Civic Center, located at 75-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Kailua-Kona.

This CERT course provides participants with classroom and hands-on instruction in safety, fire suppression, first aid, light search and rescue, emergency communications and more.

If you are interested in basic emergency awareness, developing personal response knowledge and skill sets, and you can commit to 4 consecutive Saturdays, sign-up online.
