Students of UH Hilo’s Applied Music program present their fall recital. The twice-yearly recital, titled Convocation, showcases students in songs and instrumental music.

Students in the program take individual lessons in voice or instrument playing during the semester. They prepare solos to sing or play for an end-of-semester public performance called Convocation.

Students bring to life music varied from Chopin to Whitney Houston and everything in between.
