3.4M Earthquake Shakes East of Honaunau-Napo‘opo‘o

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was registered by the United States Geological Survey at 12:40 a.m. Thursday morning, Oct. 26, 2017, about 16 miles east of Honaunau-Napo‘opo‘o.

As of 12:34 p.m., Oct. 26, no one has reported feeling the earthquake, according to USGS’s Send your felt report via USGS’s “Did You Feel it?” website.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and the Hawaiian Volcanoes Observatory did not release any warnings or information in association with the quake.
