Aspiring Hawai‘i production farmers have the opportunity to attend the “AgCurious” seminar on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at the North Hawai‘i Education and Research Center (NHERC) in Honokaʻa.

Hear about agriculture and what it is like being a farmer in Hawai‘i from real farmers. Learn about how the GoFarm Hawai’i program works to offer hands-on training to beginning farmers.

Applications for the next cohort of students for the GoFarm Hawai‘i program will only be available to attendees of this seminar.

GoFarm Hawai‘i’s AgXposure farm work field trips will be held four Saturdays, Sept. 30, Oct. 7, 14 and 21, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

GoFarm Hawai‘i’s AgSchool will present “Introduction to Small-scale
Farming” for 16 weeks on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays from Nov. 1, 2017, through March 24, 2018.
