Students Receive Scholarships from HFS Federal Credit Union

Seven Hawai‘i Island high school seniors are recipients of a total of $13,000 in scholarships awarded by HFS Federal Credit Union. The award, given to credit union members who demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding academic and career goals, and community involvement, will support education at an institution of higher learning.

The scholarship recipients include: Mary Pratt of Christian Liberty Academy, Chayna Yoshida of Kea‘au High School, Shariah Olomua and Noah Wengler of Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i, Jasmine-Rae dela Cruz of St. Joseph High School, Evyn-Bree Helekahi-Kaiwi of Ke Kula ‘O Nāwahīokalani‘ōpu‘u and Gabrielle Tabbada of Kealakehe High School.
