Robert Garcia Serna, 51, of Lahaina, Maui, passed away on June 19, 2017, at his home in Lahaina. He was born on Aug. 5, 1965, in the Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church; mass will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary; service will begin at 11 a.m.; burial will follow, 2 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.

Rosemary Kanani Vasquez

Rosemary Kanani Vasquez, 77, of Lahaina, passed away on June 14, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 29, 1939 in Lāna‘i City.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 10:30 a.m., and burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Ha‘ikū.
Rosemary worked in Housekeeping for several Resorts.
She is survived by her children, Jesse Vasquez, Brian Vasquez, Brennan Vasquez, Jennifer “Sugar Babe” Vasquez, and Annie “Dee Dee” Vasquez; brother, Tommy Enfield; sister, Violet Johns; 24 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.
Rosemary was predeceased by her son, Wendell Vasquez.
Manuel Tomoyuki “Manong” Flores

Manuel Tomoyuki “Manong” Flores, 80, of Lahaina, passed away on June 13, 2017 at his home under Hospice Care. He was born on Feb. 4, 1937 in Lahaina.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Waiola Congregational Church in Lahaina; service will begin at 5 p.m., cremation will follow.
Manuel was a forklift driver at Maui Pine.

Betty Jane Keahi, 86, of Kīhei, passed away on June 9, 2017 at Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born on March 28, 1931 in Honolulu.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary, service will begin at 11 a.m., and burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
Betty formerly worked at Waialae Bowl as a clerk.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Derrick) Yoshimura; sisters, Miriam Kong, Susie Lapid; brothers, Gilbert Chee Sr., and Albert “Blackie” Chee; grandchildren, Cory Kimura, Holly (Burt) Ferguson, Rad (April) Kaneshiro; great-grandchildren, Lance (Britney) Vierra, Holden Kimura, Keanu Ferguson, Aalyah Pali-Kaneshiro, Ryder Kimura, and Hunter Kimura. Betty was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Haili Keahi Jr.; and daughter, Breandette Jo Iwalani Kaneshiro.

Glenn Paul Recamara

Glenn Paul Recamara, 64 of Las Vegas, NV passed away on May 30, 2017 in Las Vegas. He was born in Pu’unene, Maui. Glenn was a retired steelworker with Associated Steel Workers, Ltd. He was also a member of the Ironworkers Union Local 625.
Glenn is predeceased by his parents, Faustino and Concordia Recamara. He is survived by brothers, Joseph Ricamara, Charles (Elizabeth) Recamara, Clifford Recamara, Jerry (Clarice) Recamara, and Bryant Recamara. He was preceded in death by sister, Evelyn Carino and survived by sisters, Beatrice Rivera, Aileen Damaso, Priscilla Ah Yen, Janice (Bonifacio) Fillazar and Deborah (Walter) Medeiros; longtime companion, Andra Curfman; numerous nephews, nieces and also grandnephews and grandnieces.
Visitation will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 5-6 p.m., prayer service from 6-7 p.m. with dinner to follow. Casual attire. Family request no flowers. Private inurnment at Maui Memorial Park.
