Missing Girl, 15, Last Seen in South Hilo

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 15-year-old Hilo girl who was reported missing.

Kahli Akau was last seen in South Hilo in the Olu Street area on May 4, 2017.

She is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-4-inches tall, 115 pounds with long brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime stoppers does not record calls or subscribe to any caller ID service.
