New Counselor/Coach Joins Hawai’i HomeOwnership Center

Counselor and Coach MichaelMcCray has joined the Hawai’i HomeOwnership Center.

The HHOC is a non-profit organization with a mission to help Hawai‘i families achieve their dreams of homeownership.

McCray has more than 10 year’s experience in one-on-one financial counseling/coaching and money management.

HHOC provides education, information and support to create successful first-time homeowners in Hawai’i. By addressing barriers and increasing rates of home ownership,  the HHHOC aims to build stronger families and communities throughout the state of Hawai’i.

HHOC’s goal is to assure that homebuyers understand the purchase process as well as the resources available to them. It offers:

  • Homebuyer education classes (live sessions and an online version)
  • Individualized counseling
  • Workshops
  • Refresher classes
  • Post-purchase counseling/services

The HHHOC is located inside the Kaloko Branch of Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union  at 73-5611 Olowalu St. in Kailua-Kona.
