HCC Pālamanui to Offer Program Update
Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui and the University Center, West Hawai‘i—up and running since August 2015—just held their second commencement ceremony at the new campus.
A lot has happened in the past two years, and much is happening now and in the near future.
Come and talk story with University Center, West Hawai’i staff about the new campus and current and new programs and initiatives at Kona Commons during the month of June.
Carrie Kuwada Phipps, educational specialist for the University Center, will be showcasing all programs offered through the new campus, which includes certificates, associate degrees, bachelors degrees, post-graduate certificates, master’s and doctorate degrees, and non-credit offerings. Phipps’ informational table will be situated in front of Genki Sushi.
She will also share about Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui’s free upcoming workshops and will assist interested individuals with the free, online application process for Hawai’i Community College – Pālamanui on-site at Kona Commons. Now is the ideal time to apply for Fall 2017 and it’s still a great time to apply for financial aid.
The June outreach schedule is as follows: Friday, June 9, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.; and Friday, June 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
