Coast Grille Presents ‘Mediterranean Spring Fling’
The Coast Grille restaurant at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel will host a Mediterranean Spring Fling beer pairing event featuring local beers from Big Island Brewhaus on Saturday, March 25, at 6 p.m.
Hapuna’s culinary leads, Chef Peter Abarcar, Jr. and Moses “Moki” Tavares will prepare a four course dinner infusing local delicacies like Hawaiian Ahi with Mediterranean flavors, and pairing them with Island-made brews.
Cost is $60 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made by calling (808) 880-1111.
Coast Grille offers Hawaiʻi Island’s only oyster bar serving a variety of fresh oysters and unique poke menu prepared to taste.
In addition, the signature restaurant offers a monthly locavore menu based on a singular island-sourced product, prepared with herbs and vegetables from Coast Grille’s on-site garden. The menu includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert for $55. March’s ingredient of the month is honey, harvested from a hive on property at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel.
Coast Grille is open for dinner Wednesdays to Mondays from 6 to 9:00 p.m., with late night cocktails available from 8 to 10 p.m.
