Unstable weather is expected today across the state as spotty heavy showers and even thunderstorms are in the forecast. This afternoon they are expected to become more widespread and continue through tomorrow morning. The disturbance responsible for the unsettled weather should shift north late Wednesday and as this occurs shower coverage will start to taper off.
