Military aircraft are scheduled to train at Pōhakuloa Training Area, beginning today, Dec. 21, and continuing Dec. 22, 28 and 29.

Individuals in surrounding communities may notice an increase in noise due to extensive military aircraft training here.

The training will take place during the following times:

• Dec. 21, between 2 and 9 p.m.
• Dec. 22, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• Dec. 28, between 2 and 9 p.m.
• Dec. 29, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

These times are subject to change as the aircraft training is contingent on weather conditions.

The Pōhakuloa Training Area says they appreciate the community’s understanding and continued support of local service members and their families. Training is how the military ensures the nation’s service members are ready to accomplish their missions and return home safely.
