Looking Ahead

Improving weather is expected on Monday. A gradual return to a trade wind weather pattern will begin with trade winds continuing for the rest of the week. Clouds and passing showers will favor windward and mauka spots.

Today 

Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely for windward and mauka spots along the Hilo side. Scattered showers are in the forecast for the Kona side. High temperatures from 77° to 83°. Winds will be east around 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight 

Northeast winds are forecast 15 to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy skies for windward spots with scattered showers and mostly clear for the Kona side with just isolated showers. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°.
