Big Island Surf Forecast
Hilo side: Surf heights are expected to be in the knee to shoulder high range today. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable east-northeast winds all day and switching to the south-southeast.
Kona side: Surf heights are expected to be in the ankle to knee high range today. Minimal SSW swell.
South side: Surf heights are expected to be in the knee to shoulder high range today. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable southeast winds all day and switching to the east-southeast.
Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
