Mountain View resident Christopher Lucrisia has been charged with two alleged offenses—stealing a pickup truck and attempting to steal another.

On March 4, a Toyota pickup was stolen from the parking lot of a convenience store in Mountain View. Investigation led to the identity of the suspect as 30-year-old Lucrisia.

Police arrested him Thursday, June 30, in Hilo. Further investigation determined that Lucrisia was also responsible for attempting to steal another Toyota pickup truck in Hilo on June 9.

At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, he was charged with unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle. His bail was set at $10,000. He remained at the cellblock until his initial court appearance on Friday, July 1.
