Floral Design Workshop on July 21
The Hawaii Floriculture and Nursery Association is offering a new program for 2016, the Special Occasion ’16 program.
The program promotes the use of locally grown flowers, foliage and plants to decorate for holidays and special occasions, such as Valentine’s Day, Professional Assistant’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, weddings, anniversaries and birthdays.
To launch this exciting new program, the association will hold a Floral Design Workshop on Thursday, July 21, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel in Waikoloa.
The public is invited to attend this event, which will feature world-renowned AIFD floral designer Hitomi Gilliam.
There is no charge to attend. The workshop is being held in the Koa Room at the hotel; look for the signs.
