Hawaiian Airlines on Schedule 94.1% in April
Hawaiian Airlines completed the month of April 2016 as the US airline industry’s top-ranked carrier for on-time performance, the US Department of Transportation recently reported.
Hawaiian Airlines’ flights arrived on schedule 94.1% of the time, earning the DOT’s top ranking for punctuality.
Hawaiian also ranked second in fewest flight cancellations for the month of April with .1%, representing six cancellations out of 6,239 flights.
Hawai‘i’s largest and longest-serving airline provides daily non-stop service to Hawai‘i from 11 gateway cities in North America—more cities than any other carrier—using Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 767-300 aircraft, making it the only carrier to offer wide-body, twin-aisle aircraft for all transpacific flights.
Hawaiian Airlines also operates approximately 160 daily flights between the Hawaiian Islands using Boeing 717-200 aircraft.
