Hilo Gala to Kick Off Orchid Show & Sale

Hilo Orchid Show Gala Preview Party will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Stadium.

The gala “fun-raiser” will kick off Hilo Orchid Society’s 64th anniversary Orchid Show and Sale, the largest and most comprehensive orchid show and sale in the state, June 3 through 5, also at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Stadium.

The zero-waste gala event is a benefit for Ku‘ikahi Mediation Center.

Show Hours
• June 3, Friday 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
• June 4, Saturday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
• June 5, Sunday 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

The gala will include wine, beer on tap, local coffee, gourmet juices, souvenir wine or beer glasses.

Catered food will include pūpū, dinner and dessert.

The gala will also feature orchid displays and vendor pre-sales.

Tickets are $65 ($25 of which is tax deductible) and may be purchased in advance from Hilo Coffee Mill, Day-Lum Rentals, The Most Irresistible Shop, and Ku‘ikahi Mediation Center.
