Hawai’i CC, UH-Hilo Celebrate Earth Day with 28th Annual Event
The 28th Annual Earth Day Fair will be celebrated by Hawai’i Community College and the University of Hawai’i at Hilo at the UH-Hilo campus on Friday, April 22.
Each year, the campuses collaborate to create the free public event in coordination with the 4th Annual Conservation Career Day.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will feature over 50 presenters, activities, and educational exhibits. In addition, garden and greenhouse tours, live entertainment, crafts, and giveaways are on the agenda.
New to the 2016 fair are workshops on marine transects, global positioning systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle simulator technology.
